Rep. Matt Gaetz tweeted today that he’s been tested for the coronavirus and he does not have it, though he will still remain in self-quarantine:
“I’ve just been informed that my COVID-19 lab result was negative. In an abundance of caution, I will remain under self-quarantine at the advice of medical professionals through Thursday at 2pm. I continue to feel fine and show no symptoms.”

Gaetz admitted that he slept in a Walmart parking lot last night to avoid going to a hotel, just in case he had the virus:
Still, after traveling aboard Air Force One on Monday and sitting by himself in an empty office aboard the presidential plane, Gaetz said he decided not to stay in a hotel upon his arrival in Washington, D.C., but instead said: “I slept in a Walmart parking lot somewhere off [Interstate] 85,” according to reports by the Pensacola News Journal.
Sounds like Gaetz is taking this self-quarantine seriously. Good for him. Also I’m sure it’s a big relief to have tested negative for the Chinese coronavirus. (YSWIDT?)
