Governor DeSantis was in Pennsylvania this weekend at a political leadership conference and reportedly won over a bunch MAGA hat wearing Trump supporters in attendance.

According to Zito there were grassroots activists, establishment types and many conservative types in attendance who came into the party since 2016.
“And there were plenty of people there that had MAGA hats on and plenty of people that were activists for Trump.”
She continued, saying DeSantis won many of the Trump supporters over and they’ve switched from Trump to DeSantis:
“DeSantis wowed that audience. He had people on their feet several times. He had a lot of grassroots activists — important people that were very instrumental in volunteering for Trump & raising money for Trump in Pennsylvania, who have now moved over to DeSantis.”
This doesn’t surprise me at all. DeSantis is a very ‘wow’ kind of candidate and it’s nice to hear he’s getting this kind of feedback at these gatherings.
