REPORT: Ilhan Omar has paid MILLIONS to her husband’s firm with campaign cash

It looks like Ilhan Omar has found a way to get rich off of campaign cash, paying her husband’s firm millions over the last two years from campaign donations raised:

FOX NEWS – Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., has paid nearly $2.8 million to her husband’s political consulting firm so far in the 2019-2020 election cycle, including nearly 70% of her third-quarter disbursements.

Federal Election Commission data shows that Omar’s campaign sent $1.6 million to E Street Group LLC, which is owned by her husband Tim Mynett, from the start of 2019 through Jul. 22, 2020. After that, she reported an additional $1.1 million in the third quarter and $27,000 in the following weeks. That $1.1 million constituted nearly 70% of the $1.6 million that Omar’s campaign spent that quarter.

The expenses covered a range of services, including cable advertising, “digital consulting,” video production and editing.

Omar handily won re-election last week amid criticism surrounding the way she financed her campaign. She married Mynett, a campaign consultant, in March after having funneled more than $500,000 to his firm by that point.

Neither Omar’s office, her campaign, nor E Street immediately responded to Fox News’ requests for comment.

Remember, Omar just married her new husband Tim Mynett in March of this year. It was reported that she was caught cheating on her now ex-husband just a month before. He was also married as well.

Back in March it was noted that she has paid her new husband’s firm $300k, which was an alarming number. Now FEC records show the number has ballooned to nearly 3 MILLION. I think I’m starting to see why these two married each other.

Omar has previously defended paying her husband’s firm money, claiming she consulted with a “top FEC campaign attorney” to make sure they weren’t doing anything wrong:

It’s not uncommon. We’ve reported on other Democrats doing the same thing, and in most cases it sounds unethical and corrupt as hell. But most of the time it’s just hundreds of thousands of dollars over a longer period of time, NOT MILLIONS in one campaign cycle.

I sure hope the FEC is looking into this because I see potential jail time in their future.
