Former failed Republican presidential candidate John Kasich is expected to speak at the DNC this year in support of Joe Biden for president:
AP – Former Ohio Gov. John Kasich, a Republican and frequent Trump critic, has been approached and is expected to speak at the Democratic National Convention on Biden’s behalf next month, according to a person with direct knowledge of the plans who insisted on anonymity to discuss strategy. Kasich is among a handful of high-profile Republicans likely to become more active in supporting Biden in the fall.
You know the old saying “if you can’t beat them, join them”? Well apparently Kasich has taken the opposite approach: “if you can’t beat them, spend years attacking them on CNN and then support their radical leftist enemy for president during the next go round.” Or something like that…
I just hope that when Kasich is on stage at the DNC supporting Joe Biden, that he doesn’t forget to mention that his dad was a milkman mailman, because that really worked well for him in 2016.
