Apparently the ICBM missile that N. Korea fired yesterday has never been seen before by US intelligence and they are classifying it as ‘brand new’ in the N. Korean inventory:
According to CNN, N. Korea deceived American intelligence onlookers by initially using a KN-17 missile which is only capable of a moderate range. But after they filled up the KN-17 with liquid fuel, they then attached another stage to the missile which the Pentagon believes gave the missile it’s intercontinental range.
While they are still assessing its range, they believe it’s possible this missile could hit Alaska.
