REPORT: School police officer was present at Uvalde elementary school

It’s just been reported by Fox News reporter Bill Melugin that a school police officer was present yesterday at Uvalde elementary school when the psychopath gunman, Salvador Ramos, arrived.

According to a source with the Texas Department of Public Safety, the police officer exchanged fire with Ramos and was subsequently shot and injured.

That’s when Ramos ran into the school, barricaded himself in and began shooting:

 
Melugin also confirmed this morning that the guns used by Ramos were legally purchased just a few days ago:

 
Lastly, Melugin also reports that 17 people are still injured as of this morning, some in serious condition including his grandmother who Ramos shot in the face:
