[UPDATE: PENTAGON SAYS TALIBAN NOT IN CHARGE AT AIRPORT] – Taliban forces enter military section of Kabul airport, US to hand control over to them tonight?

There are reports circulating right now that the Taliban are making their way to the military side of the airport and that the US will hand over control of the airport to them by tonight or tomorrow:

If we are indeed handing over control of the airport to the Taliban, then I guess that means we’re done evacuating people. So then the question becomes, how many Americans are we leaving behind?

The one tweet from Ayaz Gul suggested that we are still on the airport but in a smaller section. So maybe both things are true?

Also, the Biden administration disputes that they will be handing over control of the airport tonight:

UPDATE: New reporting is that the Taliban forces are at the airport, ready to take over when the US leaves.
