Former Acting DNI Richard Grenell told Newsmax yesterday that Trump has told him personally that he wants to run for president again in 2024:

After explaining why Trump should fight for the Republican Party instead of creating a new Patriot Party, Grenell said:
Donald Trump is the head of the Republican Party still – let’s make no mistake about that. He’s still the most popular politician and he’s going to decide what he wants to do. He’s told me personally, multiple times, that he does want to run again.
As Grenell adds, we’ll see if that holds true. There’s a lot of time between now and then.
But the idea that Trump is ready to pack it up and go live out his retirement on the golf course doesn’t sound like something that’s even remotely true to me.
