Santorum had a great interview this morning on Face the Nation, talking about his win yesterday in Louisiana and defending himself when it comes to the conventional wisdom regarding the delegate math.
At the end of the interview he also weighed in on the Trayvon Martin case, suggesting that Zimmerman had a ‘sick mind’ and a ‘malicious’ motive and that the whole thing was a tragedy. Obviously there are many that feel this way and there are others who believe Zimmerman was defending himself. It’s really hard to say at this point exactly how it all began, but before you get all bent out of shape at Santorum’s comments, there are others who we esteem highly feel similarly, including Allen West and Newt Gingrich. I’m not saying one justifies the other, but suggesting that reasonable people find themselves on both sides of this case.
