I just received some terrible news about one of our beloved commenters who was also a moderator.
The commenter we knew as ‘Landscaper’, aka Jeff Godwin, just passed away yesterday. It was unknown to me that he was in such bad shape but this was confirmed by his son.
I normally don’t do posts like this, but Jeff has been a moderator here at TRS for years and so many of you were fond of him and were asking about him.
Landscaper was a reluctant moderator but agreed to do it at my request. I thought he was perfect for the job and he did it well, never trying to overstep.
I don’t know the circumstances of his death and didn’t ask, but I’m not sure it really matters.
Please say a prayer for Jeff and his family or possibly say a rosary for him if you’re Catholic.
May Jeff rest in peace and spend eternity with our Lord in Heaven.
UPDATE: I talked to his son and he said Jeff passed away peacefully with his family around him.
