Roger Stone published a video on his Instagram page explaining that a story that will be published soon is fake news….categorically:

This is Roger Stone. Somebody has been pushing a fake news story, first with the New York Times, then the Washington Post and now with Ronan Farrow of the New Yorker. Someone is saying that they overheard a conversation in which I told Donald Trump in October of 2016 what exactly would be in the WikiLeaks disclosures and when they would be disclosed.
This is categorically false. This is exactly the epitome of fake news. Let whoever is pushing this false narrative come forward and say, for the record, with their name on it. They won’t because it is false.
According to The Hill, Stone believes he’s about to be indicted by Mueller:
Stone on Monday sent out an email to his supporters claiming special counsel Robert Mueller is poised to indict him as part of the ongoing investigation into ties between the Trump campaign and Russia.
It has already been reported that Stone was in communication with WikiLeaks, the anti-secrecy group that leaked a collection of emails from the Democratic National Committee (DNC) during the 2016 presidential election.
I believe I read somewhere that Stone was trying to raise money for his impending court costs as well.
Take this for what it’s worth to you – Stone is a scumbag. But who knows, I suppose he could be telling the truth here.
