Rove: Palin shouldn’t be offended by my comments on her doing the new show

Rove says that Sarah Palin shouldn’t be offended by his remark that doing her new show may not have made her look presidential or have been the best use of her time, because he’s a commentator and that’s what commentators do. He reminds Hannity that he’s said nice things about her as well, but that he hopes she and all presidential candidates would have a tougher skin than to be offended by something he might say about them:

Rove is a Republican first and last. He is the all about giving the appearance he knows how to win so people will hire him and has no concern about the Republican brand having any substance. He manipulated the conservative christian vote during Bush’s 2nd run in 2004 very successfully, yet through his comments and action in my opinion he doesn’t particularly like them at all. By caring only about the next election instead of good governance, principled positions, and honesty. He set his party up for two huge defeats in a country that is center right in 2006 and 2008 as people like me got sick of his crap and shameless attempts to manipulate the vote through flag burning, abortion issues, etc. that he always rolled out like clock work in the run up to the election while at the same doing everything possible during the normal session to… Read more »

Rove is out for Rove period. His repeated claim of being nothing but an objective observer for Fox is a load of crap.

What did Rove give us, the aftermath of the Bush years… that was a winner alright.

I have seen several accounts from insiders that know Karl Rove and most say without reservation that Karl Rove is NOT a conservative.
Karl Rove is a political operative. Every thing he does or says is for a reason and is for his or his clients gain…

I watched this interview last night and I just had to chuckle when Rove went into his bit about “I’m just an honest commenter doing my job as an unbiased observer and no one should get so upset with the things little-old-me says” crap. Rove couldn’t be more obvious if he wore a T-shirt that said I WILL SINGLE HANDEDLY DESTROY SARAH PALIN’S CHANCES FOR 2012 AND LAUGH WHILE DOING SO, YOU FOOLS. Palin doesn’t have a chance. Sean tried to counter Rove’s accusation that Palin has a thin skin, but Rove knows it’s a winner. He also knows that anything he says about Palin will be picked up by everybody and used as proof that she can’t win. The conservatives who don’t want her in the race will latch onto Rove as validation of their already negative opinions. It’s too bad. But Rove knows how to play the game… Read more »

Any conservative that looks to Rove for anything is not a true conservative. Progressive Republicans look to Rove, not conservatives

That’s just the sort of argument that gets anti-Palin conservatives going. They LOVE being called RINO’s because then they can ridicule the person making the claim.

Never underestimate conservatives ability to be just as petty and mean as a liberal when they feel threatened or in the pursuit of blog traffic.

Also, never forget that bloggers are all graduates of forums and message boards who never could stand not having control over all the jerks and trolls they had to put up with when making their brilliant observations. Blogs are nothing more than private message boards and are run by people who couldn’t cut it on forums controlled by others. That’s why most of them have such contempt for their commenters.

I am such an optimist. I hope people may see through him and remember we want something better.

He reminds me of certain abusers who say I shouldn’t get so upset at little things they say. Mean and evil and trying to pretend they are ever so righteous.

Looks like Karl’s panties are still all up in a bunch. Poor little manchild.

That’s where I am having trouble with Mr. Rove. He doesn’t see that his comments are hurtful.

Naturally, Palin will be offended by these comments as well.

How well do we, or should we handle negative comments? I don’t know of anyone who enjoys getting hacked on.

I’m not sure it was Palin who “complained” about his comments – I think all the Conservative observers & commentators were sick of hearing Mr. Rove bash conservatives (women in particular) & talked about it. Palin’s skin is plenty tough.

Dead-on: she never said anything until someone asked her, and even then her response was lighthearted, not “complaining”.

I’ll bet he would speak of you with a little more respect than you speak of him….and former President Bush.

I think we need to start using the term “Bushies”. Definition: People who blindly support Bush, and are unwilling to recognize his atrocious actions toward destroying the rights of Americans and invading countries that did not attack us.

Globalists don’t like anyone, even in their own party, who they can’t trust to support destroying the country.

Rove == RINO and should just join the DNC already

Interestingly, Rove helped conservatives take back House.

Also, Palin is a RINO because she is contributing to a possible Obama reelection if she runs in 2012. Furthermore, she raised sales tax and oil company tax while governor. So you, being a person who criticizes people for being “RINOs”, would have to criticize Palin for that.

1> Raising Taxes do not automatically Qualify you as a RINO.
2> Rove Did NOT help Conservatives, he help Republicans some of which where conservative. Big Difference
3> Running for office does not make you a RINO either.

Rove came out against a couple of republicans in the general election. He would rather have globalist democrats in those seats.
