Rudy Giuliani says it would be SUICIDE for Trump to pardon himself… [FULL interview]

While others are out there debating whether the president can truly pardon himself or not, Rudy Giulani comes out and says that it would be SUICIDE for Trump to do so.

Watch below:

Giuliani says Trump has an absolute right to self-pardon, but practically, politically, it would be suicide.

While you might think this would mean that Trump absolutely won’t do it, I would think it’s utterly meaningless. Trump has shown his willingness to say something and then do the complete opposite when given the chance. So I could 100% see Giuliani later argue that it was the most brilliant thing ever for Trump to pardon himself.

By the way, National Review’s Andrew McCarthy says the president can pardon himself, but says it is unwise for Trump to even talk about it, and if he abuses the pardon power, he can be impeached over it.

Here’s the entire interview with Giuliani:

In the interview, Giuliani simply says that everyone got it wrong when they made statements that Trump Jr. wrote the statement about the Russian meeting. That seems highly unlikely given how many people made the same mistake. But Giuliani is right about one thing – if Trump never testified under oath about it, then even if he lied, it’s not a criminal act. So who cares? Nobody. #MAGA!!!
