RUMOR: Michael Cohen turned on Trump because Mueller threatened to send his wife to jail for 30 years!

David Martosko, the political editor at the Daily Mail, found a very interesting entry from Lynne Patton’s Facebook page in regard to Michael Cohen.

In case you aren’t familiar with Lynne Patton, she works for the Trump administration’s HUD and has worked in the past for both the Eric Trump Foundation and the Trump Organization.

She was also at the Cohen hearing on Wednesday on behalf of Congressman Mark Meadows, which caused Rashida Tlaib to lose her mind claiming racism against Meadows:

What many of you may not be aware of is the fact that I can personally confirm that the ONLY reason Michael Cohen “turned on” the President of the United States is because Mueller threatened to throw his wife in jail for up to 30 years. Period. She is the co-guarantor of a $20M personal loan that Mueller discovered Michael secured back in 2015 by falsely inflating the value of his taxi medallions – effectively making her part & parcel to the federal charge of “Making False Statements to a Financial Institution,” to which Cohen ultimately plead guilty. This is also the reason why Cohen’s longtime taxi medallion partner, Evgeny “Gene” Freidman, was granted immunity.

Now of course none of this has been verified to my knowledge, but I don’t know why she’d lie about such a thing. In fact she wrote it as part of a longer Facebook post in mid January, well before the hearing took place.

And honestly, the way Cohen did an about face against Trump, it does ring true. He went from being willing to take a bullet for Trump to the one firing the bullets.
