On Saturday’s Unfiltered, Dan Bongino and Heritage Foundation’s Kara Frederick talked about Visa and Mastercard cutting off all service in Russia. Bongino said “they’ve already done this kind of stuff” to Americans here at home, and Frederick said that this is all absolutely a “test run” for the far left.
As they were discussing the calls in Western nations (like Trudeau this weekend) saying the war in Ukraine proves we need more censorship, Bongino brought up the credit card companies.
“The saddest part about this whole thing: I’m out to dinner with my wife tonight before I got on the air, and we’re having a conversation, and she asked me about Mastercard. She’s like ‘What do you think about Mastercard cutting off Putin and Russia, and then PayPal and other payment services?'” he explained. “I said, y’know what? Ordinarily I would say wow that’s really terrific, good, it will put some pressure on them. But you know what seriously concerns me? That the Left will see this as a Bat-Signal to go and turn this on their political enemies here at home.”
“And by the way, that’s not a conspiracy theory! They’ve already done this kind of stuff. Stripe kicking Donald Trump off,” he correctly pointed out. “That’s gotta concern you, too.”
“Precisely. I think this is a test run. Russia is a test run for what they can do to their domestic enemies here in the United States,” said Frederick.
Frederick pointed out there was a threat advisory from Homeland Security that said disinformation and misinformation on SOCIAL MEDIA it could be considered “terrorist activity!”
She also brought up the actual theft and de-platforming by Trudeau in Canada.
“I believe that this is fully a test run for what they can do to us here at home,” she said.
