Wow. It sounds like Samantha Bee’s TBS show is taking more of a hit than it I thought it would:
DAILY CALLER – Samantha Bee, host of “Full Frontal” on TBS, has lost at least two-thirds of her advertisers since she dared to call first daughter Ivanka Trump a “feckless c*nt.”
Bee’s show had 19 advertiser spots on her show the night she lobbed the profane insult, but the following week she had lost more than two-thirds of those advertisers.
According to Newsbusters, Bee’s show had not regained any advertisers in its second week since the controversy.
For her June 13 episode on Wednesday night, Bee had just six non-Turner-owned advertiser spots. Advertisers included Playstation 4, Consumer Cellular, and Wendy’s.
Two-thirds? Dang, that’s a lot! I’m glad to see advertisers taking something like that so seriously from a liberal. She deserves that and more after what she said, and then her non-apology apology.
