Sanchez to Medina – Are you a birther?

I’m wondering what you think: Did Sanchez set her up like Beck supposedly did? Or was it a fair question? If she would’ve said “Yes I am a birther” would that have made the question any more or less fair?

Obviously you know I am not a Medina fan after Beck’s interview. I had never really heard much from her at that point, other than friends saying that she wasn’t very impressive. But I completely agree with that now. In fact, I just don’t find her politically viable at all.

Take for instance her interview with Rick Sanchez. He begins by asking her about the 9/11 stuff from Beck’s interview and she quickly takes her stance that Muslim terrorists flew planes into the World Trade Center and that the government didn’t collude with the terrorists. Fine. If she had only said that during Beck’s interview. But then she just keeps going talking about doubts that she has over questions raised by the 9/11 commission. When Sanchez rightfully asks her to explain what she meant, she declines. I mean, why would you mention it if you aren’t willing to explain it? Why didn’t you stop with the first statement?

Geesh!

Then she also brings up the birther thing all by herself! Ok, yes, it was in a previous interview that he aired early in this clip, but why would you do that, especially when trying to clarify the 9/11 truther statement? She just doesn’t seem to have much political sense.

Oh and one other thing. She claims after the birther question that her personal beliefs shouldn’t be a subject in this election. I mean really, what planet is she from? Personal beliefs are very important in helping the voters understand someone’s character and judgement. Aren’t we glad that John Edwards didn’t become President, knowing what we now know about him? I honestly just can’t believe she made that statement.
