Sarah Huckabee Sanders was on Fox News this morning defending Trump’s tweets, saying that he’s not going to be bullied and he’s going to fight fire with fire:

She of course justifies everything Trump says and does, because it’s her job to do that. But Hemmer is right, it’s entirely too personal and, as we all know, far beneath the office of the president of the United States.
The excuse that Trump fights fire with fire or punches back twice as hard is getting old. After all that’s what his people are for, to push and punch back for him so that he doesn’t have to get down in the mud.
Just fyi, this is what one Trump supporter says was the offending segment that led to Trump’s tweets:
Here is the "respect for the presidency" @JoeNBC @morningmika displayed today. cc @mikebarnicle @WillieGeist. (I disagree with the tweets) pic.twitter.com/EK45rSSygl

Honestly, it’s not all that bad. I mean Mika was obnoxious as usual, but the overall segment wasn’t so crude and insulting that it deserved such personal low blows from Trump himself.
In any event, here’s the full segment with Sanders. The portion about the Trump tweets begins around 6:30 and goes a bit longer than the clip above:
