Sarah Palin: I’m glad Paul Ryan’s speech was about big ideas

Sarah Palin was on with Megyn Kelly a few moments ago to discuss what the Romney/Ryan ticket should expect from the media. After stating what most of us understand to be obvious at this point, she said that they shouldn’t simply be consumed with the unfairness of the media attacks, but that they need to lay out what their proposed cuts will be so that the American people aren’t surprised when it really happens.

When asked about Paul Ryan’s speech last night, she simply said that she was glad that it was about big ideas and that Joe Biden would likely want to call in sick when he has to debate Ryan.

why are so many doing exactly what the gop establishment knew you would do? vote for their hand picked establishment guy who is not a conservative? do any of you not have principles? are you just sheeple? voting just for the guy just to get rid of his oppoent? when i cast my vote nov 6 it will be a third party vote – constitution party candidate, because i want to be able to say I stood my ground, my principles and beliefs knowing I voted for the person who best represents those same principles and beliefs.

Was there some correlation with Fox cancelling Sarah and also not using JUAN WILLIAMS…was that like take one liberal off then take one conservative off??? He disappeared like he was in an Episode of “I Dream of Jeannie” Obviously his disaster in dumbness over Ann Romney gave him the BIG BOOT (MORON!!) so I guess Ailes was trying to be FAIR AND BALANCED??? If so what a bunch of hogwash!! I mean is he really that ignorant!

Then Bam here is Sarah the next day??? Sarah is right..Paul shot for the stars and he hit another galaxy….as for Biden….oh maybe they will put him in chains somewhere with a muzzle so they can save him the EMBARRASSMENT OF A MINDBASHING against Paul Ryan…He will need a HEAD GUARD for all the JABS he will take!!

Imo, the most effective use of Palin by FNC would be to have her give a five minute uninterrupted commentary, subject of her choice, to be aired once a week in prime time and replayed during the day and weekends. Since most of her FB posts usually light up the internet, the impact of her commentaries would be formidable. Most of these FNC interviews with her are usually either dominated by the host (Hannity), or they are littered by really inane repetitive questions that she’s answered before (Greta).

Of course, since Palin wouldn’t have any qualms of going after both the Dems and the GOPe, it’ll probably never happen. The grassroots would love it. The suits at FNC would hate it.

I think the scrutinizing of every single move the Gov Palin makes is making some followers more passionate than ever.

Gov Palin has a contract with FOX. She makes money by providing commentary to them. If at any time she doesn’t like how she is being treated she can end her contract. Gov Palin is a loyal partner and friend and if I were the network I would do all I could to maintain the relationship.

The television business is fluid. I make no excuses for FOX. Their shift from center/right to center/left is a bad decision in my view.

Interesting that Megyn didn’t refer to Palin as a “FOX commentator.”

Now, I’ve seen a bunch of people denigrating Meghan Kelly lately. I hope the fact that she brought Mrs. Palin on today after Faux news cancelled her last night makes some of you feel better about Meghan. I don’t know why I like her so much. Maybe, ’cause she’s hotter than a $3 pistol.

Interesting that they had her on phone just in case so that they could accidentally hang up on her if they had to. Also they asked her of the Yahoo guy comments caught with an open mic type question? Couldn’t have they used another example?

http://www.breitbart.com/Big-Journalism/2012/08/29/Meet-David-Chalian-Producer-of-Charlie-Gibsons-Palin-Interview No. This was a great example. This was a producer, with Charlie Gibson, in Alaska for the 2008 election. by asking this question, Megyn gave Sarah the opportunity to expose the left’s bias. Or as we like to say, the LSM(Lames Stream Media).

Quite frankly, if I were a Democratic Party strategist, I would use the treatment the Repubs are giving Sarah as a weapon against Romney. It certainly would have a powerful negative effect. I remember, shortly after the election in 2010 there was a panel (I forgot the network) in which Krauthammer, a black fella from Dems and some other less known japa jappers took part. They were talking about influence Palin had on the lection an the conservative movement in particular. In one moment the black fella said: “Shame on you Republicans for the way you treat Sarah Palin. She has saved your party’s life not once but twice” Krauty was visibly embarassed and responded: “You are obsessed with this glorious woman.” “We are obsessed? ” the black fella laughed. I hope that no Dem will read my post because I don’t want to give the Leftist bastard any ideas… Read more »

I don’t think that would work. We, TEA Party people hate Maobama so much that that plan wouldn’t work. We see right through our Marxist in Chief.

BTW, G’day mate, and welcome aboard.

They could try it, but she doesn’t give them much to work with. She’s pretty careful in her subtle avoidance of endorsement of the Republican ticket. But at the same time, she regularly beats Obama like a rented mule in her Facebook postings, so they hate her too much to do a decent job of it.

It is my personal opinion that Roger Ailes doesn’t like Sarah Palin and he’s happy to try to marginalize her during this convention. This is just a guess and I may be completely wrong but something real odd is going on with Sarah Palin and Fox News.

I love Clint Eastwood. But why are we hammering away at Obama and ALL the Hollywood celebrities and parties he goes to, claim how out of touch he and Hollywood are and then build up the ‘mystery speaker’ meme and it be a CELEBRITY?

K-Bob

* His movies are well liked by conservatives
* His characters are good with guns
* He was the mayor of Carmel, CA for a while, so
he’s done some time in public service
* He was in the Army
* He plays jazz piano, and composed several tunes
* and there’s this little gem:

In 1950, Eastwood began a one-year stint as a lifeguard for the United States Army during the Korean War[15] and was posted to Fort Ord in California.[16] While on leave in 1951 Eastwood was a passenger on board a Douglas AD bomber that ran out of fuel and crashed into the ocean near Point Reyes.[17][18] After escaping from the sinking aircraft he and the pilot swam 3 miles (5 km) to safety.[19]

Fox trying to walk back their their reasoning for cancelling Palin’s appearances…..and doing a terrible job of it. Can not wait till Palin’s contract with FOX is up.

Fox will not tolerate any criticism of Romney from Palin after the election. They know she can hurt his presidency. She will need to find another way to shine the light on Romney’s administration. I am not sure if working with CNN or the Clintons would work well.

poljunkie

I dont like the moves Fox is making. However, If Gov Palin doesnt renew her contract there will be one less outlet for us to see her on. Unless she has “other” plans such as the Breitbart TV network, or switching to CNN, where else would we see her?

Probably she is traveling, hence no video. She was in AZ on Tuesday….where is she now?? I remember a few months back in an interview with CNN Palin said about the Convention, “I sure plan to be there one way or another”. !
Maybe she is on her way to Tampa.

The call with Megyn came from Wasilla. That would be a hell of a detour from Arizona to Wasilla and back to Tampa?

Sorry about that…I just thought it great that the big ideas are what is needed and Ryan is in agreement with Palin on that.

BTW: It is never a bad idea about these two talking with one another on camera as well.
