Sarah Palin: Romney needs to be “severely aggressive” in making this about Obama, not just his policies

I just caught Sarah Palin on the rerun of the BillO show, and her message sounded an awful lot like Mark Levin’s message to Romney that we just posted. Her point is that Romney needs to make this about Obama, not just his policies, that Romney needs to call Obama a socialist, because that’s what he is. It’s about a man who has an agenda, not just about incompetence and bad policies.

In short, she says he must be able to convey to the American public that “you either get free stuff or you get freedom.”

Freedom isn’t free: Soooooo, who is going to pay for all this belligerent “freedom”? Not the corporate interests who profit off it, but the already economically stressed taxpayer. And whose children are going to be fighting these wars? Again, not the wealthy elites, but those same folks who have carried the burden over the past decade.

The wealthy reap the profits, while the ordinary folks get stuck with the tab!

Ed Klein’s book on Obama is titled: “The Amateur”.
The Romney team belongs to the Obama team,
they keep the man from winning, sending him on wrong errands,
missing opportunities to take on the rogue Alien Gay Muslim POTUS!
They are busy taking measures of their new offices, assuming
they are in the money. Lazy amateurs, who will give away
the country in order to be nice and know that when and if
Romney loses, they can get network contracts as opinionators.

Romney needs to send this entire crowd packing, bring in
Dick Morris, Arthur Finkelstein to shape his message.
Enough with the nonsense!

Wasn’t this the same Bill O who not long ago was mocking and scoffing at anyone who declared that Obama was a Socialist. Forgive me if I’m wrong, but I have a mental image of him doing exactly that. His words still ring in my head, ” Aw c’mon Obama’s many things, but he’s no socialist”

Now all of a sudden rainwater has turned into beer and Bill O is now the one lecturing Republicans to hit Obama on his hard left socialism.

Go figure!

Apparently, in the so-called “no-spin” zone, there are no labels that can be applied to Obama’s ideology and policy that are not “buzz words.” That is, every descriptor is a form of spin.

The Left has won the war of words before the battle of ideas begins on O’Reilly’s stage.

JohnHerald

In the spirit of good faith, I admit I am a liberal, so naturally I agree the left is winning the war of words. However, I also believe that the right was leading in that arena until now, having mastered the common sense argument based on fallacy as well as the art of burying hot buttons in its messages. Unfortunately, this lent itself best to what were essentially outrageous lies: Obama is a socialist, Muslim, America hater, foreigner, whatever. Limbaugh, Beck, Hannity, et al, could build audiences ripe for such buzz words, as could the strategists in Congressional races. But besides the fact that none of this was natural to Romney’s style, virtually no candidate could have sustained the lies in the focused spotlight of a national campaign, as Ryan has so ably proved. Blame the media, if you will, but their examination is as much a part of the… Read more »

She did the best job I’ve seen in a whileof not letting Bill interrupt incessantly.

Sarah is just a logical, common sense person. That makes her more qualified than the Republican leadership we have at the moment. More qualified than any in years and years. Laura ingraham said it perfectly when she said if the Republicans and mitt can’t beat Obama with his baggage then its time to start anew. Could it be worse? The Republicans are a joke and it ain’t funny at all.

They won’t do it, they’ve decided to play this nice guy campaign so they can get the “independent undecided” vote, meanwhile I’m over here yawning. I don’t understand how it could be about Obama’s policies and not about him personally? Who makes those policies? For someone who’s supposed to be so “stupid” Sarah sure makes a lot of sense.

A spineless moron. This strong black man cannot even manage Hillary Clinton and his own state department. His own employees and bootlickers make him look more like a fool than his own wife does. He leaves his own ambassadors out in the cold, then throws them under the bus and still you don’t see his face mocking the living on TV. Yellow, pisses himself, coward.

Today President “Stand with His *** in His Hand” said to the 3,000 American, murdered by Islam on 911, “You will not be forgotten.”

Gov. Palin always tells it like it is although I did not see the anger that others saw. Dislike about things, yes. And don’t tell me to open my eyes, it was obvious. I listened to it and simply do not agree. I really don’t know how effective it would be to start publicly labeling obama a socialist etc. We’ve been doing it for 4 years and he still has 49% approval rating. I think it will be up to the average voters to keep getting out information. Any criticism of obama aside from obvious policy failures will be spun by the media as racist. Do we really want to do this again for another 4 years? I sure don’t. I want obama gone. Polls are being skewed but Romney actually is almost even now w obama in favorability and gender. Keep House take Senate in 2012.

Pass legislation to get this economy going and let Obama be the obstructionist and veto.

Make case for midterms need 2/3 majority.

Make case for an actual conservative in 2016 with a huge majority in congress.

That’s how you defeat the RINOs and Dems at the same time without giving either enough power to thwart your plans.

If we make it to the next presidential election, there had better be riots over primary “election” fraud all over the country. Otherwise, we will get another Romney/McCain nominee. With the new rules fraudulently passed at the RNC, their presumptive nominee will be able to kick out any delegates he/she doesn’t like.

It will be harder next time, so republicans had better be up for a real fight, if they want a good candidate.

Doesn’t everyone remember that Romney’s hands are tied, because he has been a socialist as well? How can Romney go after Obama without getting it right back in his face?

Romney: “Obama’s socialist health care is going to destroy this country”.

Obama Reply: “Romney’s plan was the same as mine”.

Romney: “Obama is a gun grabber who doesn’t respect the second amendment”.

Obama: “Mitt buddy was tough on gun ownership and supported bans too”.

Romney: “Obama’s parents had a sorted past with ties to Marxist groups”.

Obama: “Has anyone looked up what Mitt’s “hero” father was in to”?

Romney: “Obama was put in office by bankers, and then appointed them to his cabinet”.

Obama: “Have you looked at Romney’s contributors”.

I could go on, but we all know what the deal is. They both have so many flaws that they cannot attack each other in a real way. It only works if one of them is clean.

I couldn’t have said it better and boy did Sarah look visibly irritated about the lack of [email protected] coming from the Romney campaign. Levin is pissed and so it Laura because they (and we) know what needs to be done and it’s not happening. Romney is a wimp and as someone else mentioned, Ryan isn’t doing much either.

The Romney campaign had no problem “cage fighting” when it came to other GOP candidates, but they suddenly “punk out” with Obama?? WTF!?

Our party needs fighters…avengers who will obliterate any democrat liberal who gets in the way…we need politicians like Gingrich, West, Palin, etc..

If Romney loses, it is time for a new political party. The RNC called me today asking for money and I told the rep to call me back when Romney grows a pair and I hung up.

She doesn’t have too much time for the RINOS, as do a lot of conservatives. Backbone must be in short supply in the Republican party.

First Romney was “severely conservative”, now he must become “severely aggressive” against Obama, while as real conservatives are “severely frustrated” at all of this.

Let’s hope Mittens does not get “severely beaten” at the polls on November 6th.

The entire GOP establishment won’t call it this way. They think calling this a-hole a socialist turns off so called independents. Well, I don’t recall independents running to the Republican party in 2006 and 2008 when Democrats were calling Bush a fascist. In fact they did the exact opposite. Why? Because the GOP looked impotent and had no credibility on any issue, especially fiscal. 90% of the country has made up its mind. We are dealing with the most clueless 10%. These people are uninformed and will make a gut decision in the booth. If you look weak and tentative like McCain did they will lean left. On the other hand, if Romney will start doing things to rile up his base and get some momentum, the GOP will appear to be stronger. The clueless will lean right. Oh, one more note Mitt, Obama and the media can’t play offense… Read more »

I sense a fracture in the “establishment” and serious fear. Romney is who he is and Ryan hasn’t been much help. Maybe the debate training didn’t go so well? I dont care what O’reilly thinks “its changing” that is just a bunch of crap this country is center right (2010 elections) (Chick fil-a), the reason Obama is in office is because we have not had the chance to throw him out like we did to the congress back in 2010. MITTEN’S can’t fight back even if he would like to. The reason is,the Bushies have total run and control of his campaign and want him to lose so Jebbie can be President in 2016. The Bushies won’t let him fight back. No one is going to be allowed to get in the way of another Bush repub Presidency. The deal MITTEN’S made with Rove and the Bushies,is they would steal the nomination for him, they would get to have TOTAL control of his campaign. MITTEN’s has no right to the repub nomination and he knows it. The Bushies stole it for him by things like: Changing the signature standards on the fly in Virginia,to prevent Newt Gingrich from being able to run there. Virginia was a sure win for Gingrich. Everything you say is right on target but what if there is a non Bush faction that are Americans Patriots first, and they are scared to death, by internal polling and even more terrified that a loss would be pinned squarely on the RNC/GOPe? Both Laura and Rush were laying that ground work today. Ironic that they wanted to stop Palin to protect the GOPe. Now what?

mark1955

It would be nice if there was “A non-Bush Faction” in the GOPe,but if there is, it is miniscule and has no access to the levers of power, even if they wanted to change things. If your referring to inside of MITTEN’S campaign, the same thing applies. The Bushies are inside running everything, while MITTEN’S is outside, sitting on the curb, waiting for instruction’s from his master’s. Let alone any “American Patriots first”,which are getting fewer and fewer in the repub party. Those types, would definitely be denied access to the inner circle. That’s why i think the same thing happened in 2008 with the McCain campaign. The Bushies basically stole it for John McCain who is loathed by the Base, in exchange,he had to let Bushies Steve Schmidt’s and Nicolle Wallace run his campaign. Which they did, Deliberately right into the ground! That’s why McCain and MITTEN’S respectively, appeared to run an almost despondent, lackluster campaign.… Read more »

What is the end game? They can control Romney if he wins. If Obama wins and crashes the Republic, what does Jeb have left to run for? If you think they are going global along with Soros, and hitting the reset button on all debt, I can see them cutting in Romney but not the Obama’s. I could easily help bolster your case by pointing out that the Bushie FOX hierarchy has joined in slamming Romney with Hack O’Reilly and Rupert Murdoch chiming in. I don’t disagree with many of your points, I just can’t resolve it all tonight. Too corrupt for my brain right now!

The financial systems could be crashed at any time. The money controllers of the world could shut us down at will. Why are they waiting? I personally believe that they are not quite finished building their ultimate police state of control. A financial collapse means a collapse of infrastructure, food distribution, etc. This means that there will be a massive crime wave, and many people dying in the process.

I believe that this will be the official end of our constitutional republic. Global government and currency will be their answer.

I wonder how Palin’s advice worked for the McCain campaign. They did not listen to her so why would Romney? I thought I heard Mitt say that McCain’s campaign was the way to go. If so, Palin is sadly wasting her time with a campaign that will balk at speaking the truth in a “tough love” kinda way.

She would make better use of her time bolstering those conservatives running for the Senate and/or the House.

Puritan. There is NO DOUBT that Palin is busy working behind the scenes, writing letters to various organisations, churches and so on and on… and urging those churches and organisations to energise all those voters who have been letargic until now to take part in election.

The best proof are her rare posts in her facebook and other activities.

I don’t believe even for a second that she is iddle or gave up the fight.

Appart from that, she has done million time more to America than any other “conservative” political figure in the last four years.

How do you carry the message without the corrupt MSM tearing you a part. Without the corrupt MSM calling you a hater, a racist, and all kinds of names.

The corrupt MSM trashed Gov. Palin when she tried to talk about Obama’s radical pass in 2008.

How do you get the message out? With ads, the corrupt MSM can refuse to run them. In interviews? We know they love to cut and paste.

One way would be the debates. They are live but you fwould need a record turnout.

Ah but he only won the Presidency, he still had a overwhelming Democraic congress and Senate…. We don’t only want to pass bills, that’s easier to negotiate .

And Reagan says he didn’t cut the government enough, he campaigned on ending the department of Education, remember Carter made the a cabinet postion just a few year before, now it would be impossible to end the federal control of schools.

We NEED to repeal Obmacare or everything else doesn’t matter…. To repeal you need a republican congress and Senate.

Um, not understanding what you are trying to say here in relation to Mitt’s inability to get the word out. I was responding to Jean’s statements that there is no way for Mitt to get his message out because of the media (unless I missed something). Reagan was able to get his message out. Yes, he was only able to win the presidency but what strong conservatives were running for the House and Senate at that time? By the way, there was a strong conservative class even during the time of Reagan and the R’s did win a majority in the Senate during a brief time. So, yes Reagan’s success even included getting the message out onto his coattails. The sad part is that Mitt has no coattails and most of the wins for the R’s will be due to running their own campaign against their own opponent. If R’s… Read more »

The Gov may be the only politician in recent years that can take direct hits from the MSM, while getting her message out, and then come out stronger on the other side. I tend to think that the MSM has lost tons of credibility in the past due to her steadfastness and ability to adapt to get her message out on alternative media channels. The Nielsen ratings seem to indicate that the liberal news outlets are losing viewership. Bottom line most people appreciate the fighters not the fence sitters.

It’s about Freedom vs No Freedom. Welfare recipients will be the first people sent to do government labor. They will be forced into becoming slave laborers. Fed, clothed, and housed by government, they’ll owe their meager existence to government.

They can get started thinking about it right now, so under the Liberal “Fairness Clause,” it should be mandatory that all able persons, who are receiving government welfare, contribute a 40 hour work week to the government. This will help pay down the debt in each state. Government Jobs will help all the Occupy people out.
