Scientific Consensus on Capitol Hill as both Drs. Redfield and Fauci try to explain to congress that KIDS. NEED. SCHOOL.

There is a lot of heated debate among members of the media and Democrat politicians on which reason is the best reason to say that schools shouldn’t open this fall. Some are going with “won’t someone think of the children,” while others are saying “stop trying to kill hero teachers!”

But among scientists and experts in pandemics and disease and viruses and medicine and–well, you know, SCIENCE– there is what we on the right side of the political spectrum, where reality-based policy comes from, call “consensus.”

That consensus? It includes both Dr. Anthony Fauci, beloved of CNN, and Dr. Robert Redfield, beloved of someone we’re pretty sure, maybe the non-political folks. And what they agree on is that

KIDS NEED TO GO BACK TO SCHOOL FOR THE SAKE OF THEIR HEALTH AND WELLBEING AND THAT OF THEIR FAMILIES.

Watch, from yesterday’s hearing.

“I don’t think I can emphasize it enough, as the director for the Centers for Disease Control, the leading public health agency in the world, it is in the public health interest that these K-12 students to get the schools back open for face-to-face learning.”

That’s a powerful statement.

So how many of y’all think that Fat Dumb and Bald Guy over at CNN is going to bring it up? Anyone? Anyone?

Look at that, not one hand raised.

Alright, well how many of you think this will be a bigger news story than whatever claptrap politically motivated blame-game stuff was spat out by Democrats in the hearing?

Well I see a lot of folks laughing, but still no hands up.

Yep, that’s about right.
