Sean Hannity tweets that he’s ready to SUE news outlets…

I’ve been forcing myself to watch Sean Hannity’s show, God help me, and he’s been talking about his impending lawsuit a lot. Apparently he met with his all-star team of lawyers today:

A tort is not a yummy pastry, but rather an injury done to someone that is legally actionable.

Now you might think that he’s suing Debbie Schlussel, who said that Hannity invited her to his hotel and when she refused, he banned her from his show. But that’s NOT what he’s been saying lately.

What he’s been saying on his show is that he going to sue news outlets for reporting on her accusations. But that’s legal, as far as I understand it. She made the accusations, they reported the accusations. They didn’t say they were true or false. That’s what news does.

According to Hannity, that’s illegal, or something.

He talks about it in this monologue:

At one point he says that they didn’t go back and change their headlines. But the story hasn’t changed significantly from her accusations, so I’m not sure what he’s talking about.

So… I guess we’ll see what happens.

Remember Hannity just recently accused the New York Times of surveilling him, so it’s going to be entertaining, I imagine.
