Sen. Kennedy on Fox News Sunday today voiced that thin hope we all have, but which most of us don’t have faith will be realized, that the Democrats won’t turn this confirmation process into a “freak show”.
“I hope they’ll let us have a respectful process, we don’t need another freak show,” said Kennedy. “I hope they won’t get into the foothills of kinky, and bring back Michael Avenatti and all that other stuff.”

Ain't much hope of that but worth the appeal.

And then he elaborated a bit later in his answer.
“If my Democratic friends want to turn it into an intergalactic freak show and bring back the protesters with the genitalia-shaped Headgear, I can’t stop ’em. I just hope they won’t,” he said.
“If the Democrats best argument is she believes in God, therefore she’s unqualified– I don’t think that’s illegal in America. I hope not. We have religious freedom, it should be jealously guarded,” he said. “They tried that when she came up for a court of appeal nomination, it didn’t work too well.”
“They may try it again,” he went on. “As I say before it’s over with they may bring back Michael Avenatti.”
They probably won’t bring back ACTUAL Avenatti, but I think you can bet your sweet bippy they’ll have a new one to take the old one’s place. This is how Democrats operate. They aren’t going to change.
Still it’s nice to hope I guess.
