SENATE VOTES TO TAKE UP INFRASTRUCTURE BILL – 17 REPUBLICANS JOIN DEMS

The Senate have voted yes on the motion to open debate on the trillion dollar “infrastructure” bill, after negotiations between the power brokers arrived at what they’re calling “bipartisan” compromise.

Enough Republicans voted to move forward, per their agreements, that it overcame filibuster numbers. The vote was 67 to 32. That’s 17 Republicans voting yes with the unanimous Democrat side.

This means there will now be 30 hours (give or take, with objections and time reclaims and miscounts) of debate and a possible final vote on the MASSIVE Biden bill on Saturday.

Republicans voting yes included:
Lisa Murkowski (AK)
Richard Burr (NC)
Thom Tillis (NC)
Bill Cassidy (LA)
Kevin Cramer (ND)
John Hoeven (ND)
Mike Crapo (ID)
Rob Portman (OH)
Jim Risch (ID)
Susan Collins (ME)
Lindsey Graham (SC)
Chuck Grassley (IA)
Mitt Romney (UT)
Todd Young (IN)
Shelley Moore Capito (VA)
Roy Blunt (MO)
Mitch McConnell (KY)
