Sharon Angle’s interview that has the Left claiming victory

I watched this entire interview, and there were a couple of potential trouble spots, but nothing I’d say that was major. The first one is the unemployment section. She was asked how she would vote on the current bill to extend unemployment benefits. She said she would vote no, and her reason why is what may get her into some trouble:

Personally I would have said that I want to extend them, but since the Dems aren’t honoring their own PayGo rule, then I would vote NO until they pay for it. But she took a different road, down the path of government dependency is bad for the electorate. While her argument is true, it’s a bit ill timed since we are in the middle of a quasi depression and there are many people out of work simply because the economy is so bad. And her parsing of the word ‘citizenry’ wasn’t the best either. I think she could have done better on that answer.

The only other issue I had was when she answered the question on abortion, telling the interviewer that she was pro responsible choice. I have no clue what that means, and it sounds like a compromise of sorts at least in lingo. But when he asked her if she felt the government should tell a 13 year old who had been raped that she should have that baby, I would have simply said yes because the baby has a right to live. She danced around that answer, and I understand why, but she came back to the notion that because she’s a Christian that she believes that basically God can handle the situation. And she’s right about that.

All in all I didn’t feel it was a bad interview, and hopefully the electorate in Nevada will be able to see through the bs and spin of the lefty MSM. Cause we all know what Harry Reid believes, and he’s out for your wallet.

Here’s the whole interview which runs about 27 minutes. It’s well worth the time you’ll spend watching it:
