It’s unclear, at the time of this posting, whether anyone was killed at the Park City Center Mall in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. The mall is on lockdown after shots were fired inside during an incident the details of which remain unclear. WPVI in Philadelphia reports that the police confirmed to them that multiple individuals were shot.
Multiple people are in custody, say police.
It was just over an hour ago that video surfaced online, though the source of that video also seems unclear, as hundreds of Twitter users have reshared it embedded in their own posts.
Here is the first one we saw. This is not for the faint of heart, but fwiw it does not seem to show anyone being shot. Looks to me like this video shows the shooter – or a shooter anyway – firing as he or she is being pulled to the ground by another person.

A video shared on social media appears to capture gunfire as shoppers run to safety. Other videos show emergency crews rushing to the mall’s entrance located at 142 Park City Center.
An employee who works at the mall told ABC affiliate WHTM that workers hid in a backroom before they were able to evacuate safely.
Police tell Action News that there are multiple people in custody at this time.
The Lancaster Bureau of Police released a statement on the incident saying, “There is no immediate threat or danger to the public at this time.”
