This is breaking news. Police confirm that shots were fired inside the University Park Mall in Mishawaka, Indiana this afternoon.
Some reports say it is still an active shooter situation, but WIBC-FM in Indianapolis reported about 30 minutes ago that it is no longer an active scene.
The South Bend Tribune reports that one person is confirmed dead following the shooting, citing St. Joseph County Coroner Michael McGann
Video was shared on Twitter showing people in the mall fleeing from the gunfire.

A second video appears to show one person lying dead or wounded in the center of the mall, but we’re not going to share that one here.
Some reports say the suspected shooter is still at large.
