Singer Demi Lovato comes out against gender reveal parties, calls them TRANSPHOBIC

Singer Demi Lovato has just come out against gender reveal parties for soon-to-be-born babies, claiming they are transphobic because they are based on two genders:

DAILY WIRE – In a nine-page Instagram post, singer and songwriter Demi Lovato called gender reveal parties “transphobic” and claimed that “there are boys with vaginas and girls with penises.”

Lovato claimed throughout the lengthy post that transgender activists dislike gender reveal parties because they divert from “reality.” To Lovato and other activists, reality is the concept that humans are born without any concept of gender. Lovato also claimed that basing sex off of genitalia is “inconsistent with science.”

“It’s both insincere and incorrect to pretend that gender reveal parties are not transphobic. You can’t have your proverbial pink-blue binary cake and eat it too. This is not about political correctness, it’s just…correct,” the post reads. “We condemn gender reveals not because of our identity, but because of reality.”

Lovato continued by claiming that “the gender binary,” which claims there are biological girls and boys, fuels transphobia in American life. The post claims that transphobes view “non-trans people” as more “natural” and “organic.”

“Transphobia is not just about prejudice against individual trans people, it’s also a way of thinking that understands non-trans people as more natural/organic and erases everyone else,” the post reads. “These ideas, like the gender binary, fuel mistreatment of all people, but especially trans and gender non-conforming people.”

While I’m not much on ‘gender reveal parties’, I have nothing against them and they are certainly not transphobic. What Lovato says above is insanity, and she’s basically spitting in the face of God who created the ‘binary’ genders.

Ben Shapiro sums it up with this short quip:
