I actually think some of the SNL sketches on politics have been OK lately, but wow they plopped out a boring and inept cold open this week.
They took on “Fox’N’Friends”:
What I don’t understand is that Fox’n’Friends is so obscenely biased and stupid that SNL should have been able to mock them relentlessly and get some laughs. Instead, they showed how obscenely biased and stupid SNL is, and they produced a complete dud.
They had a later sketch with the first ladies and Melania Trump – it had a few laughs, but mostly uninspired.

I just don’t understand how they’re so lazy – they just assume their audience is liberal and they feed them the stupidest and most obvious jokes.
