So…um…Beto just claimed that Planned Parenthood SAVES lives

Today, in the upside down world that is the 2020 Democrat Party, Beto O’Rourke actually told folks at a campaign rally that Planned Parenthood saves lives. Totally said it. And he did so in response to a question about late-term abortions:

In what universe are women dying because they can’t get an abortion? This is nonsensical poppycock.

Oh I’m sure he would say they are dying because they can’t get access to all the ‘health care services’ that Planned Parenthood provides or something, but as we all know those are minimal at best and don’t include mammograms:

It’s patently absurd to even make such a claim in defense of Planned Parenthood when the primary service they provide is murdering unborn babies!

But this is what they left does. They take something evil like Planned Parenthood and tell all sorts of lies to make it sound good and wonderful. It’s horrific.

  1. I’ve been cursing and getting angry for a few weeks now over evil garbage like this. I’ve had it with all the insanity of The Left. So, I’m trying to reel in my rage and impotent spouting off and say something a little more meaningful. So, I’ll contribute a Capt. Obvious comment.

Beta and the rest of these people are godless and lost. They don’t have spiritual discernment or an ounce of wisdom or compassion. It’s the hell-bound road they choose. So we can pray for their salvation and with that, a change of heart. I think of the change I’ve seen in Dana Loesch… or better yet, Saul who became Paul. I pray that God will help us to deal with these evils (which will get worse). And my hope is that He reaches these “people” too. Because they have a horrible future otherwise.

May God have His hand in stopping the slaughter of innocents.

    1. Sentinel, “Let not the sun go down upon they wrath.” Or as mother used to always tell me as a lad, “Don’t go to bed angry, it’s not healthy.” 😉

In addition to your thoughts above, it is also important to remember that evil thrives on disarray, hypocrisy, and anti-God discourse and actions. That being said, it is too bad that we cannot hear statements from the, “victims,” that always seems to be required of the leftists.

We also have to realize that these are the same folks, in their hypocrisy and self aggrandizement, that if a single living cell on Mars were ever to be found, they would cry out like Dr. Victor Frankenstein and exclaim, “LIFE,” and as if they created it!!

    2. @muckjumper Let’s also support “new political converts” like Brandon Straka and his growing WalkAway Movement.

  2. That is sick! This guy is rotten… If I were not a Christian I would call him something else…

  3. The left defines abortion as “women’s healthcare.”

Planned Murderhood performs abortion, therefore they are a healthcare provider, according to the radicals.

The left defines healthcare to includes everything from cancer screening, to flu treatments, to stitches for a cut, to suicide prevention, etc.

Therefore, if you close an abortion clinic, you’re closing a healthcare provider, and denying people healthcare, to include cancer screenings that are not performed, flu treatments that are not given, stitches, suicide prevention, etc.

This is beyond faulty logic, it’s dishonest, shell-game, bait-and-switch style tactics. Low information voters fall for it easily.

  4. And they want to put a guy like him in the White House and on top of that a hit and run drunk driver.

  5. Does anyone here know even one female who has ever gone into a PP seeking legitimate health services? I know one person who used it like a birth control method and one other who also went in for their “reproductive health service” and regrets it to this day. I am so sick of the PP b.s. As for O’Rourke, he is just speaking talking points (no, I didn’t watch the video). The dude haa zero convictions – nada, zip, zilch.

      1. She must be a unicorn. Most of us go to an actual doctor – whether it’s the public health clinic or a private doctor. There is no reason for anyone to seek medical services at a PP.

    1. Lots of women go there hoping for help weighing their options. Unfortunately, the PP thumb is on their own money scale.

      1. That may be, but I was asking if anyone goes there for actual healthcare, not to explore the option of killing the baby.

    2. @squirrelly I lived a few blocks from an abortion clinic in a neighborhood frequented by prostitutes. I always assumed that they were the main customers, for lack of a better word.

  6. The Ultimate Gaffe would be if Beto said Planned Butcherhood Saved or Created Lives.

  7. I’ve often heard that some women who have had an abortion are haunted by it years down the road. It haunts men too. At sixty years old with two grown children and young grandchildren, I’m still remorseful that I went along with an abortion when I was younger.

    1. This is the norm, which shows you how powerful the media is. Have you ever seen an interview anywhere with a man or woman who regretted their abortion?

  8. Bevo is doing what I expect Biden to do, gaff his butt off. It’s just a matter of how the media cover or don’t cover these stupid statements. Currently Bevo is sinking like a heavy turd in a punch bowl. Sad.

  9. It sickens me that democrats have become the party of murder, but I suppose, the truth is, they always have been. About 100 years ago, they were the party of Eugenics, Margaret Sanger (who founded “The Negro Project” to abort black babies…the “project” now called Planned Parenthood), and Saul Alinsky (Rules for Radicals) and the like. Now, they have indoctrinated young women into foregoing having families because of “global climate change.” Evil.

    This all reminds of this:

“In the best of times, our days are numbered anyway. So it would be a crime against nature for any generation to take the world crisis so solemnly that it put off enjoying those things for which we were designed in the first place: the opportunity to do good work, to enjoy friends, to fall in love, to hit a ball, and to bounce a baby.” ― Alistair Cooke

  10. I know you don’t want to, and it’s so tempting, but please don’t skip watching the short clip that Scoop included above. Bobby Frankie actually has the nerve to say that he “respects” the pro-life POV and has “made it a point” to go to every “red, conservative, and Republican” district in Texas to discuss this issue and to try to “find common ground.”

But his message for the pro-aborts hasn’t changed one inch.

    👿 👿 👿 👿 👿 👿 👿

    1. @nc checks and balances

Common ground to The Left means having it their way. In this case: murder.

  11. It almost makes you feel sorry for him, doesn’t it? I mean, to be so naive and knowing that your candidacy is tanking before your very eyes, it’s sad. (Bwahahahahaha)

  12. I just got an email from my congressman that the 2002 born alive law already protects babies.

  13. I just can’t get past his hand thing! I mean can you imagine him doing that at a meeting with Kim Jong Un? They’ll nuke us just to take him out!!!

  14. GENIUS AT WORK:
4 million babies born in USA last year
700000 babies aborted in USA last year
Beto logic: Thus 4 million lives were saved and 700k were killed

  15. Lets’ pretend for a moment they do. Which is greater the ones saved or the ones murdered.

    1. According to the link I posted above, 321,384 babies were murdered in 2018 at the hands of planned butcherhood. Defend that Beto!

  16. He was meandering and it was hard to pay enough attention to understand the point he was making. I think he mentioned mothers that die giving birth. If that’s the case the law (or proposed law) has exceptions for saving the life of the mother at least in most cases that I’m aware of.

  17. For those who aren’t old enough, that was actually the original argument they tried to sell abortions with — it would save lives. They said that on the one hand, then assured us that no one would ever use it as a form of birth control, because that would be “monstrous.” We could see that was a lie, but we had no idea how monstrous it would become.

    1. I say this repeatedly: If, in 1973, someone suggested that Roe v. Wade would eventually evolve into suctioning out babies’ brains and crushing their skulls as they are in the process of being born, that person would have been called bat-crap crazy.

      1. …and done all in the effort of “saving the life of the mother”. BULL CRAP

NO doctor in his right mind would subject a woman to LABOR if her health was at risk, he would do a C-Section. Labor is the most dangerous part of an entire pregnancy, many things can go wrong, so to subject a woman IN BAD HEALTH to inducing labor and waiting for the entire birthing process to take it’s time, then do as you so aptly describe, is ludicrous.

  18. Liberals only defend a woman’s choice when the choice is immoral or against traditional values.
I’ve yet to see a liberal defend a woman’s choice to be republican or conservative, to march against abortion, to stay home and raise her family, to carry a gun for personal protection, or to keep their down syndrome baby.
Instead they shame and intimidate anyone who refuses to follow the prescribed liberal playbook of “approved” choices

  19. There are some abortions which are preformed to save the mothers lives, which are the types of abortions done in hospitals, not in planned parenthood and they’re usually done in spite of how the mother actually feels about doing it.

    Beto is full of sh*t

    1. There are some abortions which are preformed to save the mothers lives

I used to think that, but I know now there is no medical scenario that exists where you would first have to kill the baby to get it out. If the goal is to get the baby out, that can already be accomplished by c-section without killing the baby. Besides that, there is no medical scenario I know where you have to kill the baby to save the mother, none. There may be miscarriages where you need to get the baby out, but the baby has already died naturally.

    2. @aphazel Not only that, if a mother’s life is truly in danger in the third trimester, after the baby is viable, it is safer for the mother to deliver the baby alive by Cesarean rather than kill it.

  20. I just can’t get past his hand thing! I mean can you imagine him doing that at a meeting with Kim Jong Un? They’ll nuke us just to take him out!!!

  24. Beto’s “fundamental principal that health care also means every woman makes her own decisions about her own body” is such an egregious lie! Abortion actually means the woman is making her own decisions about her own CHILD’S body — decisions that are much more consequential to her child’s body than to her own.
