What a puke. George Takei has shown the world that he’s one big giant jackhole with his racist rant against Clarence Thomas in the aftermath of the Supreme Court decision on gay marriage (h/t: Free Beacon):
Newsbusters shows us what Clarence Thomas was talking about in his remarks on ‘dignity’:
Human dignity has long been understood in this country to be innate. When the Framers proclaimed in the Declaration of Independence that “all men are created equal” and “endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights,” they referred to a vision of mankind in which all humans are created in the image of God and therefore of inherent worth. That vision is the foundation upon which this Nation was built.
The corollary of that principle is that human dignity cannot be taken away by the government. Slaves did not lose their dignity (any more than they lost their humanity) because the government allowed them to be enslaved. Those held in internment camps did not lose their dignity because the government confined them. And those denied governmental benefits certainly do not lose their dignity because the government denies them those benefits. The government cannot bestow dignity, and it cannot take it away.
Maybe this Takei jackhole should open a dictionary before showing the world he doesn’t have a clue what he’s talking about.
Dignity simply means “the state or quality of being worthy of honor or respect.” Just because slaves were treated horribly and weren’t respected, doesn’t mean they didn’t have dignity. They were absolutely worthy of much more respect than they got. As God’s creation we are all worthy of respect and honor and no one can take that away from us no matter how they treat us.
Takei is just filled with incredible hatred in his heart and lashed out in this racist rant against Clarence Thomas that I’m quite sure the MSM and corporate America is just simply going to ignore.
And this is exactly what Mark Levin was talking about last night when he said:
“The Left, the most vile, vicious, angry, hateful crowd on the face of the earth can say the most damnable things you can possibly imagine and they don’t pay a price for anything.”
