That’s right. The Supreme Court of the State of New York has threated to take away a mother’s CHILD because of a rock. It’s painted with a Confederate flag.
There ain’t a thing any person can say to change the fact that this is straight up fascism. Contrary to the prevailing lib/dem/cnn view, being fascist doesn’t become UN-fascist just because it’s AGAINST fascism. Or racism. Or whatever it is that you’re virtue signaling about today.
In this case, the thin little sliver of hook they’re hanging this brutal government oppression on is that the woman’s child is “multi-racial.”
Here’s what the liberal Washington Post writes:
Appellate justices with the New York Supreme Court on Thursday ordered a Tompkins County woman to remove the Confederate flag-painted rock or risk a “change in circumstances” to the child custody case of her young daughter.

“Given that the child is of mixed race, it would seem apparent that the presence of the flag is not in the child’s best interests, as the mother must encourage and teach the child to embrace her mixed-race identity, rather than thrust her into a world that only makes sense through the tortured lens of cognitive dissonance,” wrote Justice Pritzker in the UNANIMOUS decision.
MUST ENCOURAGE AND TEACH THE CHILD TO EMBRACE HER IDENTITY. MUST NOT ENGAGE IN COGNITIVE DISSONACE.
What the hell kind of legal decision is that? This isn’t just the state looking to the welfare of a child, they are legislating the moral state of the child’s upbringing.
Does anyone understand how terrible the implication of this is? “I just think that this thing opens a door to litigating… someone’s personal opinions on something,” said the attorney representing the child’s interests. I mean exactly.
That WaPo article gets worse and worse as you go on. I’m not even going to link it, you can find it if you really feel like it. But here’s an example of what you’re going to find.
But there has been some refusal in conservative strongholds to let go of the Confederacy and its history. Despite voting to remove the Confederate flag symbol from its own state flag last year, Mississippi Gov. Tate Reeves (R) declared April to be Confederate Heritage Month. The Mississippi governor went on to say to Fox News host Laura Ingraham last month, “There is not systemic racism in America.”
If people don’t have the freedom to be immoral then people don’t have moral freedom. You cannot claim to be a free society when a rock painted with a flag from the 1800s means the state can take away your FREAKING CHILD.
Unbelievable.
