A Democrat Senator claims to be upset that War Secretary Pete Hegseth has referred to the media and Democrats as Pharisees, claiming he’s an antisemite for doing it.
But Hegseth refuses to back down, and this Senator leaves the podium in protest. Or something.

Hegseth’s use of the term Pharisees, while referring to a historically Jewish group, has nothing to do with being Jewish. It has everything to do, as he said, with some people always looking for the bad in something that is actually good, just as the Pharisees did with Jesus.
It’s about actions, not ethnicity or religion. This is why Senator Rosen’s argument is stupid. And I think she knows it is, but she’s doing it anyway to try and scanadlize Hegseth for using it. And I’m sure the media will play along.
