That is a quote of Biden’s Under Secretary of State for Management, Ambassador John Bass, speaking overnight about the crisis in Sudan. One American is confirmed dead overnight, and there are over 16,000 civilians in the war-torn nation as it descends into chaos, transportation becomes non-existent, and lines of communication are being cut off.
The official White House position: help is NOT on the way. Again.
Oh not just that help isn’t on the way, but “she was asking for it.”
“Sudan has long been a dangerous environment. The United States in our Travel Advisories to American citizens and American travelers has had a notice in place for over a decade cautioning American citizens not to travel to Sudan,” he said.
