Two days ago we told you that the White House was meeting with newsrooms to get them to give Biden more favorable coverage on the economy. Well now we see the fruits of these meetings.
First up is CNBC’s Jim Cramer, who says this is the strongest economy he’s ever seen:
Wow. Cramer is spinning so hard he’ll make you dizzy! He claims the latest unemployment number is the best in years, says all the help wanted signs just means there’s “a tremendous demand for goods and services”, which he says is “a marvel to behold”. He adds that also means people are ‘confident’ about their jobs, which he describes as “fantastic”.
I don’t know about you but this feels like a hostage video to me. It’s clearly nothing but White House propaganda.
In a segment tonight on MSNBC, Joy Reid teases an upcoming segment by saying “the economy is actually doing pretty darn well”:
