Biden’s worst moment last night came when Trump got him to admit that he wants to get rid of the oil industry. But Washington Post reporter Annie Linskey said Team Biden was trying to change his answer:
Biden's team seeks to clarify Biden's remarks on the oil industry, with @KBeds saying that Biden was referring to ending oil subsidies.

@Kbeds is Kate Beddington, and apparently she was trying to undo what Biden said. But Biden was very clear about it in his answer:

Biden isn’t confused here. He’s clear about transitioning away from the oil industry AND ending federal oil subsidies. Team Biden can’t fix this.
Here’s a few responses that Linskey got after her above tweet:
Hahahahahahahah GTFOH with that BS!

Nice try. The toothpaste is out of the tube on this one…

Oh, Annie.

What exactly is the point of having Biden at a debate, if his campaign is just going to say "don't listen to Joe, he doesn't mean the stuff you all heard him say"? https://t.co/RU2YSEGrkx

Nope. Biden straight-up said he was going to end the oil industry. We all saw it. Kinda surprised they’re not blaming Biden vowing to nuke the entire U.S. energy industry on THE RUSSIANS OMG since that’s Biden’s go-to defense of the indefensible. https://t.co/tkFQ9rzJli

Honestly I thought they'd go with the "Russian disinformation" excuse https://t.co/DuSGmZDsOm
