‘Technical Difficulties’: Parler is BACK… kind of. And they have a MESSAGE.

Parler has become the standard and symbol of the Big Tech Purge, having been the first major victim of the monopolistic collusion on the part of tech oligarchs to exert their will and drive from the internet that which they do not like, or which threatens their bottom line.

Having now been offline just hours short of an entire week, the website is back up. Not the APP, to be clear, just the website itself. A landing page, to be specific.

And it comes with a message to the world: “We will not let civil discourse perish!”

Now seems like the right time to remind you all — both lovers and haters — why we started this platform. We believe privacy is paramount and free speech essential, especially on social media. Our aim has always been to provide a nonpartisan public square where individuals can enjoy and exercise their rights to both.

We will resolve any challenge before us and plan to welcome all of you back soon. We will not let civil discourse perish!

Good. I notice they specifically say “civil” and that could be a hint that part of their reconciliation with the powers that be that they’ll be even more vigilant about moderating spam/threats/etc on the site. They’ll HAVE to be, because when they come back, the interloper antifa and progressive dilweed fakers who coordinated a campaign to create malicious content for the express purpose of getting Parler removed from the app stores will REDOUBLE their efforts. Treble them. The bad guys will come in force to try to ruin the site for everyone.

It’s something libs have been doing since the internet was first turned on, and they’ll continue to do it. That’s how the liberal mind, if you can call it that, works.

But hopefully this means Parler has a plan. Hopefully it’s a good plan. Hopefully we can all go back to our existing accounts and followers, lol.

Anyway, it’s a positive sign, and one among not too many others so I’ll take it.
