Ted Cruz calls out Rashida Tlaib’s FALSE Holocaust revisionism, challenges Steny Hoyer over her comments…

Ted Cruz blasted the Holocaust revisionism of Rashida Tlaib this morning as completely false, noting that Palestinian leadership was openly pro-Nazi. He then challenges Steny Hoyer to either agree or disagree with the substance of Tlaib’s comments:

Democrats are trying to seize on the fact that some Republicans have taken her comments out of context.

But even if you ignore the ‘calming’ portion of her comments, the substance of her comments about the Holocaust are grotesque.

Cruz is absolutely right to try and hold Democrats to the fire on whether they accept her false revisionism or not.

And in a related topic…

Lastly, Ted Cruz was on Hannity last night and you can watch that below:

  1. Cruz is almost always on the right side of things, this is no different. Kudos to him for adding his voice to others’ and Trump’s in condemning The Left and their hypocrisy, lies and hatred.

  2. Cruz keeps getting better and better.

And may I just say that I hope he NEVER shaves off that beard! It completely transforms his face in the most positive way. In short, wow wow!

    1. Love the way Crenshaw continues to call out those two Muslim and Arab Congressional Women for their stupid remarks.

  3. Steny Hoyer,Steny Hoyer, let me see,is he still with us,hmm.Ted you might want to check before you run over to the house to see if he is there taking care of business I doubt if he is there, but I did see him on Fox news,He sure isn’t calling out any Republicans for their lack of support in challenging those rude Democrats for their unkind remarks to and about the AG nor the President.

      1. Hated the beard at first but now like it a lot – softens his face. Good move to get to re-introduce the new, improved, ready for prime time visage. More kindly, more grandfatherly. Cruz 2024.

      1. I still like Lee, I think he had his reasons for voting against it but he is mostly solid.

    1. Love the way Crenshaw continues to call out those two Muslim and Arab Congressional Women for their stupid remarks.

    1. @atomicsentinel Yeah, I’ve certainly grown to like it. At first I wasn’t sure, but now it looks great on him.

  5. I must say in my entire (boomer) lifetime of reading and hearing about the Holocaust, I never once heard the words “safe haven” uttered associated with Palestinian Arabs. Never.

Tlaib went on Seth Meyers’ show last night to double down on her remarks. The following is from an opinion piece in the Washington Examiner:
    —————
Rep. Rashida Tlaib, D-Mich., is as indignant as she is ignorant.

“Racist idiots” are attacking her for claiming falsely that Palestinians offered a “safe haven” to Jews following the Holocaust, the representative claimed Monday evening in a conversation with “Late Night” host and unofficial Democratic spokesman Seth Meyers, joking that she will speak like a fourth grader from now on so they can better follow along.

    1. Ah, the race card … that tried and true game of The Sinister to shut down discussion of their falsehoods.

Well, she can speak like a fourth grader and it still won’t change the fact that she is inventing a narrative that never existed. Liars like her disgust me!

    2. @nc checks and balances This is how they change history. This radical goes on these leftist late-night and pretend news shows and keeps repeating her lies. Anyone who challenges her is attacked and she just keeps on repeating them until stupid people believe them.

This is DANGEROUS and there has to be a way to combat this attack on our history and country. There have to be articulate people who can explain in a few words how this woman is lying. Ted is a start, but who else is going to step up to the plate and be able to get through to the masses. I don’t know. 😡

    3. Just finished watching an old mini-series “War and Remembrance”. In several episodes, a few characters refer to the “dangers (for Jews) of traveling through Arab territory to reach Palestine”. Series showed the true horrors of the Holocaust in graphic detail.

      1. The book, by Herman Wouk, was great too. I read it years ago, I should read it again (with Winds of War, the first part).

        1. Two of the best novels I’ve ever read. The mini-series’ do the novels justice, but the books are better by far.

  6. Cruz keeps getting better and better.

      1. One of the things that irritates me the most about Hannity is how he won’t shut up and let his guests speak. He sure likes the sound of his own voice.

        1. I’m still bitter about him going after Cruz during the primary for the caucuses he was winning. Trump called them stolen elections and Hannity mirrored the attack even though the reason Cruz won was he had the support of the grassroots in those states. Hannity should have known that but he either didnt or he did know and wanted Trump instead.

Oh and he used Cruz to legitimize Trump by calling them both anti establishment as though they were the same.

Omg I’m getting so mad all over again. Grrr 😡

          1. Yep. Hannity praised Cruz, supported Cruz and just like that he stabbed Cruz in the back. I will NEVER forget what Hannity did.

            1. Yes I remember that show when he went after Cruz – last time I listened to Hannity on the radio. Still can’t stand his voice.

    1. You may not like Hannity Ryan but where has he been wrong in
his narratives concerning the cast of characters on the left for the
past few years? Most of his rants have been or eventually are
being revealed to be on the money.

  7. I still think Cruz is one of the smartest people in Congress. Hoping someday he will be president.

  8. OT: Just heard that Tim Conway passed away this morning at age 85. He brought so much joy to so many with his incredible talent. RIP. May his memory be for a blessing.

    1. @nc checks and balances Oh so sad. I loved Tim Conway. My favorite sketch was when he played the dentist to Harvey Korman’s patient and kept sticking himself with novocaine. His comedy on the Carol Burnett show was golden! He will be missed, but on the bright side, the heavens are having a great time laughing and loving this incredible man! :clapping:  :halo:

  10. Man, the tweetdumpster is on fire with two things right now…
    1) Democrats insisting, along with Talib, that you are all racist Islamophobes for reacting negatively to her Jew hating drivel
    2) How mad everyone is over some stupid tv show about thrones

      1. @tracy 4 or 5 years ago when we had free HBO for a week, I managed to watch half an episode of GoT. A year or so later, during another free-for-a-week period I watched another episode.

Or so I thought. It turned out to be the exact same one I had seen!

That’s happened with other shows, too. Just my typical luck.

So I’m clueless about that show.

        1. @k-bob Back in the early 80’s when HBO was first introduced we got six months of it free with our cable. It was great to get some nice uncut movies, but it bothered me to see the unrestricted violence and soft porn on my tv. We stopped it and never got it again. Even refused their “free” offers.

          1. @nc-checks-and-balances
Same here. Back when HBO was new, we subscribed. We watched maybe one movie out of fifty. Just couldn’t see the point. So we cancelled.

Wait 2 years, and you see the movie free on ad-based tv, anyway.

    1. Aw, Rashida, I’m not Islamophobic but I’m darn tootin’ sure that I’m stupidophobic though. Frankly, I’m sure that I’m absolutely, positively, downright allergic to stupid and GIRL! you’re definitely making me break out in hives!!!

This is not about Islam but it sure is about some nitwit spewing hatred all over the place!

    2. @k-bob I will never understand how the Hollywood types get so sanctimonious about guns and legal and responsible gun owners, but they churn out the most disgusting and violent drek year in and year out.

Oh wait. It makes them rich. Never mind.

      1. I want to see Ted’s VP for eight years sworn in on Jan. 20, 2033, who then nominates Ted to the Supreme Court.

        1. You man Dan Crenshaw? The most awesome congressman in a millennium? 😉 😎

          1. Alas it would be difficult for Dan to be Ted’s VP since they are both from Texas.

    1. @atomicsentinel Yeah, I’ve certainly grown to like it. At first I wasn’t sure, but now it looks great on him.
