Ted Cruz demolishes NYC policy banning NBA Kyrie Irving from playing indoors but letting him come to game and watch

Outrage has ensued after the NBA’s unvaccinated Kyrie Irving was not allowed to play in New York City this past weekend but was allowed to come to the game as a fan and watch his team from the stands.

It’s all about a stupid covid policy that NYC has mandating that someone can’t go to ‘work’ if they are unvaccinated. This policy is still in effect after NYC lifted their other insane covid policy that mandated that the unvaccinated couldn’t attend indoor events.

Thus Irving was allowed to watch the game from the stands but not play in the game.

Ted Cruz commented yesterday on just how asinine NYC’s COVID policy truly is under the new mayor:

Cruz wasn’t the only one who thought this was absurd. In a rare moment of agreement, The Daily Show’s Trevor Noah explains why “sh*t like this makes zero sense”:

Ted Cruz retweeted this video of Noah, saying “I agree with @TheDailyShow. It’s a sign of the Apocalypse.”
