Senate Democrats are today holding a hearing entitle ‘Jim Crow 2021: The Latest Assault on the Right to Vote’ in an effort to try and cast Republicans as racist for supporting new election laws around the country, specifically in Georgia.
But Ted Cruz, realizing the incredible irony of this moment, decided to remind Democrats that it was their own fellow Democrats who created Jim Crow laws in the first place:
