Ted Cruz has taken some flack from the left for suggesting why Republicans are the party of Homer Simpson and Democrats are not. In fact there’s Patton Oswalt just like night suggesting that Ted Cruz has screwed up the analogy and the he’s glad Democrats aren’t the party of Homer Simpson:
