The issue of abortion came up tonight in Ted Cruz’s town hall and once again he nailed it. He refused to get into a discussion about labels like personhood, but made his position clear by saying clearly that he believes every human life is a gift from God. He also made quite clear that he has never had any problem with contraception and went on to attack Hillary Clinton and the left as extreme on abortion.

There was another question that came up later that dealt with the issue of abortion, but from a constitutional perspective. And you’re gonna love Cruz’s answer to this one, as he used an anecdote from his daughters to explain why even a 2 year old knows that an unborn baby is alive.
