Seth Meyers and Beto O’Rourke to a shot at Ted Cruz on Meyer’s show last night:
.@sethmeyers, noting the challenge of standing out in the crowded 2020 debates, asks @BetoORourke, “Do you ever miss how easy it was to be different from Ted Cruz?”
“Where is Ted Cruz when you need him?” O’Rourke quips.

That’s pretty funny because in taking a shot at Cruz, they are both admitting how bad Beto’s campaign is going against the other 2020 contenders.
But it was Ted Cruz who got the last laugh here with his epic response to “Where is Ted Cruz when you need him?”:
…in the Senate. https://t.co/xUWakSxZRa

Dayum. What a burn. Reminds me of when Obama reminded McCain that he won, except this one was waaay better.
In related news, Cruz also burned Rashida Tlaib and Democrats with this one:
When the modern Dem party is facing more & more troubling instances of anti-Semitism—as the hard Left gets more & more strident—maybe it’s not the best idea to give a speech on the House floor comparing Jews to Nazis? https://t.co/2VrmZHEhet
