To show his appreciation on Flag Day, Ted Cruz posted a video of him pledging allegiance to the American flag, with the caption “This didn’t sue to be controversial”:

Between the caption and Cruz reciting the pledge, liberals went nuts and the video has gotten over three million views in less than a day.
Cruz responded to the outrage like this:

He’s not wrong about this being controversial. Otherwise there wouldn’t have been lawsuits to get this out of some schools around the country. Not to mention all of the hate-America garbage we see these days.
