With the release of the Susan Rice email showing more Oval Office coordination of their spying on the Trump campaign, Ted Cruz puts this into perspective:
Wow. Ongoing spying from an outgoing POTUS on the incoming POTUS—directed by Obama himself—is unprecedented in the 243 years of our nation’s history. https://t.co/kgYE1sDHFv

Cruz writes “Wow. Ongoing spying from an outgoing POTUS on the incoming POTUS—directed by Obama himself—is unprecedented in the 243 years of our nation’s history.”
He also weighs in on Comey saying he was doing things “by the book”, saying “In Star Trek II (Wrath of Kahn – the best of the series), when Kirk says “by the book” it’s code to mean he’s lying. 🤔🤔”

There’s another tweeting I want to highlight from Sean Davis, where he noted “If Obama and his team believed Flynn was a Russian agent, they had an obligation to warn Trump. They never did, because they never believed it. The Logan Act was a pretext for hiding their lawless spy operation against Trump from him, Flynn, and Sessions.”

Exactly. Comey even said in that interview that he had no evidence to support his suggestion that Flynn was a Russian agent. And they never had any. It was all a big nothingburger that they turned into a campaign to try and destroy the Trump administration.
