Texas Congressman says Capitol Police ILLEGALLY searched his office and got caught in the act

Texas Congressman Troy Nehls took to Twitter this morning to reveal how the Capitol Police illegally searched and photographed his office and got caught by a staffer when they came back a second time.

These are really serious accusations and the Capitol Police need to explain these actions. Since these incidents happened over two months ago, I’d assume that Nehls has tried to get answers and has been stonewalled. I’m guessing that is why he’s coming out with it now.

As a side note, Nehls is one of the Republican members McCarthy wanted to put on the January 6th committee and I believe he’s working on the GOP’s version of the same committee. Nehls has also been a very critical opponent of the actions of Capitol Police on January 6th. Here’s a statement he released a month ago on the anniversary of the riot:
