Texas Lt. Gov. Patrick offers to put himself in house arrest in place of jailing Shelley Luther and pays her fine!

Well, the Texan attorney general and the governor called for salon owner Shelley Luther to be released from her sentence over violating the social distancing rules, and Dan Patrick said HOLD MY BEER:

Dang bro. I mean, we’re all quarantined anyway, so I’m not sure if house arrest really means anything right now, but still. I guess he’s really putting his money where his mouth is.

This sure has gotten a lot of attention. I think maybe Luther could have waited a few days until Friday when she would be allowed legally to do what she wanted to do. But that is not a popular opinion.
