Last night Mitt Romney went after George Santos after he saw Santos standing there to shake hands with both Senators and Biden.
He said Santos doesn’t belong there and that he should be sitting in the back row being quiet.
Watch:
Asked Mitt Romney if he’s disappointed that Speaker McCarthy hasn’t called on George Santos to resign.
“Yes,” he said.
Santos “should be sitting in the back row and staying quiet instead of parading in front of the President and people coming into the room,” Romney said. pic.twitter.com/obpaYD8v1x

Well today George Santos hit right back at Romney, say this isn’t the first time he’s bene told to shut up and go to the back of the room. He said that’s not very Mormon of Romney to attack him like this:
"It's not the first time in history I've been told to shut up and go to the back of the room, especially by people who come from a privileged background … [It] wasn't very Mormon of him."

Santos is clever, playing the ‘privilege’ card to hit back at Romney.
Say what you will about Santos ’embellishing’ to get elected, but I like the fact that he’s not going to let the likes of Mitt Romney push him around.
When was the last time Romney went after Biden or Democrats like this? Yeah, never.
