The idiotic backlash to Ocasio-Cortez dancing video seems to be completely MADE UP!

There is a huge backlash to conservatives mocking a Ocasio-Cortez over a video of her dancing from college. Liberals and the media are lining up to point out how stupid it is that conservatives will mock her over anything.

Except there’s a problem – they’re making it completely up.

In Reuters’ article about it, they only cite the one tweet where the video showed up – and that account has since been deleted.

Here’s what they cite as evidence of the public outrage:

The caption under the original Twitter post, which was reported to have been uploaded by the now-deactivated account @AnonymousQ1776, read: “Here is America’s favorite commie know-it-all acting like the clueless nitwit she is….”.

So, one anonymous person?

The CBS News article for it actually cites a FAKE twitter handle to prove there’s outrage about it:

The video divided the Internet – some calling it “scandalous” and “bizarre” others applauding Ocasio-Cortez’s dance moves.

In fact, many on the right did the opposite of criticize the dancing video:

And some on the right actually fell for the media ruse and started making fun of the phantom members of the right who criticized her:

The whole episode is so weird that some are theorizing that Ocasio’s camp put the video out to make Republicans and conservatives look bad. Who knows? But the media is certainly eager to LAP UP the lie that there’s a bunch of conservatives out there criticizing the dance video when there isn’t at all.
