The liberal mob is infuriated with a monologue from Tucker Carlson’s show last night on the aftermath of George Floyd and the Black Lives Matter movement. In it Tucker said that this moment we are living in right now is not really about black lives and said “remember that when they come for you”, which has the liberal mob calling Tucker racist.
First let’s start with the full video of what Tucker said, courtesy of The Columbia Bugle:

Tucker questions what this movement is really about, noting that it’s somewhat unclear at the moment. But he did say it has very little to do with black lives, because if it did these Democratic leaders “wouldn’t ignore the murders of thousands of young black men in their cities every year. They wouldn’t put abortion clinics in black neighborhoods. They would instead do their very best to improve the public schools and to encourage intact families, which we know beyond a shadow of a doubt is central to the life prospects of children.”
Tucker goes on to stress again that this moment is not about black lives, saying “remember that when they come for you, and at this rate, they will.”
Note that when Tucker says ‘they’ will come for you, he’s clearly referring to Democratic leaders and politicians as he indicated in his monologue. But the Daily Beast is claiming in their headline that Tucker is referring to the “Black Lives Matter Mob”.

The media is lying about this Tucker clip. He was talking about Democrat leadership and their priorities…
Right before this he said:
"If Democratic leaders cared about saving the lives of black people, they wouldn’t ignore the murder of thousands of young black men…" https://t.co/JPMUcBWtTu— Ryan James Girdusky (@RyanGirdusky) June 9, 2020
Exactly. But the Daily Beast would have you think he’s talking about some mob with pitchforks and molotov cocktails. They don’t write that expressly, but it’s implied when they say “Black Lives Matter Mob”.
Tucker does talk about the rage of the mob and how it feels when they come after you, like they did to Drew Brees, who may be on his fourth apology for defending the flag. Tucker suggests they’ve turned him into a propaganda tool now.
But Tucker also defends America saying it’s a good country, better than any other, which immigrants understand because they come here in droves. He says they aren’t coming here because America is racist, but because it is not.
In watching the whole video I didn’t hear anything I really disagreed with – I thought Tucker was spot on.
But big names in the liberal mob, reporters even, who only heard a shorter cut of the video or possibly read the Daily Beast article, are declaring Tucker as racist and suggesting his advertisers need to cancel:
Strong “Birth of a Nation” vibes. Tucker always doing the most to fill old white people with unnecessary, racist fear. https://t.co/e0hGJCMdFA

Ana Navarro-Cárdenas is a Never Trumper pundit who might as well be liberal at this point.

They are all getting this wrong. And as Steve Krakauer notes, this cancel culture mob of (mostly) journalists is proving Tucker’s point, saying “This widely shared and picked up story essentially proves Tucker’s point. He’s not talking about a “Black Lives Matter mob” he’s talking about… THIS exact mob of bad faith or willfully stupid journalists ready to Cancel at the slightest misquote”
